Listen, this was legitimately tied for me for Fall 2022 anime with Chainsaw Man. This might be because I’m an idiot, but it was just tons of goddamned fun.
The premise is simple: it’s a Yakuza Crime Drama/Comedy set in the 90’s, except instead of Yakuza families beefing for territory, it’s animal-themed maid cafes. If nothing else, give it one episode to at least give you a rundown of the premise.
