[Romantic Comedy, Slice of Life, Supernatural] This anime is finished, totaling 63 episodes spanning 3 seasons, and was given the title of “Best Anime of the Season” in Spring of 2021, runner-up in Spring 2019 for the same award, and won Crunchyroll’s “Best Drama” award in 2021.

It’s a very down-to-earth story about a recently orphaned teenage girl. Some people describe it as a bit slow at first, but the story continues getting better and better all the way up to the last episode. It’s cute and comical on the surface, but has some surprisingly dark underplots that tend to take people by surprise, and a lot of very relatable moments. All in all, it’s a very feel-good anime to relax and unwind to, while still maintaining a great overall story.

Basic Summary w/o Spoilers: “After a family tragedy turns her life upside down, 16-year-old high schooler Tohru Honda takes matters into her own hands and moves out… into a tent.”

Would love to see your unique perspectives on this anime! (I’m somewhat new and I’m not super familiar with what you guys do/don’t prefer to watch, so if this kind of thing isn’t to your taste, that’s totally fine.)
