I didn’t even know there was an issue with the Bleach episode until I read the comment section. I’m enjoying the presentation so far, and of course we want more screen time for Aizen. I don’t think you can satisfy everybody lol.
I want more from Byakuya, but he’s supposed to be dead supposedly, so I’m just glad he’s alive hahaha. All these characters have already had entire arcs dedicated to them, basically, so they’re showing up for their cameo moments hahaha.
I hope we get one more big play from Aizen, but no biggie. I think Kubo is going for more than a brain-dead battle finale. He’s giving us something of substance to think about for decades to come.
I also think when you look at Bleach Blood War as an arc, if you binged it, you wouldn’t feel so disappointed, because it’s literally like a journey and we’re in that soft landing. People are building up so much hype for the final episode that they’re finding themselves disappointed.
Are y’all grasping the peak episodes Blood War has already given us? We’ve had some of the greatest battles of all time in one arc lol. Let them cook. We’ll see what they do next month.
My expectations aren’t necessarily in the battle. I’m expecting good resolution, closure, philosophy — something to think about.
