Fall 2026, Week 4 (Sun Oct 18 – Sat Oct 24). How this week is ranked: by my own picks. These are the Fall 2026 shows on my schedule that had me locked in this week.
Vote in the Fall 2026 poll below (check every show you’re watching), then tell me in the comments where I got it wrong. This is the Yaboyrocklee Reaction roundup for the week, with our Main channel reaction embeds where we have them.
Quick note on Bleach: We also reacted to Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Ep 49, “The Blade” (Mon Oct 19). It’s not in my top 5 this week, but we’re one episode away from the finale. Watch our Bleach TYBW Ep 49 reaction.
Vote: what Fall 2026 anime are you watching?
#1 — Black Clover Season 2 Ep 4 (Ep 174) | Yaboyrocklee Reaction
Why it ranks: Lilith and Naamah were sick, and they were having a ball the whole fight. Even when it looked bad for Nacht, I was still having fun. Then that Return to Sender callback to Asta’s first attack with the Black Bulls was dope, and Nacht using evil to defeat evil was honestly the logical conclusion.
Spoiler-free summary: Episode 174: Asta and Nacht take on the twin devils Lilith and Naamah, with some familiar backup.
More Black Clover: A Christian YouTuber said he can no longer root for Asta because of his link to a devil. As a pastor’s kid and a Black Clover fan, here’s my take on the whole Asta debate.

#2 — Overgeared Ep 4 | Yaboyrocklee Reaction
Why it ranks: I appreciate the attention to detail on the consequences in this game, like the company having to be responsible when it pushes Grid to the limit. Things don’t work out 100% in Grid’s favor, and honestly I was scared he was going to get rich, because that would make it too easy of a power fantasy. He’s going to keep working his way up, and the way he succeeds is definitely not conventional.
Spoiler-free summary: Episode 4: Grid’s blacksmithing gets put to the test against a rival who copies skills, and the stakes of the game start reaching into real life.
#3 — The Laid-Off Cheat-Granting Mage Ep 3 | Yaboyrocklee Reaction
Why it ranks: It’s not the greatest thing I’ve seen, but it has a particular charm to it. The different drawing styles tell me they care about particular scenes, and the voice acting and storyline don’t take themselves too seriously, but they do. If you like isekai fantasy and you like Konosuba, I expect you to like this show, but it’s completely its own thing.
Spoiler-free summary: Episode 3: Lily’s past with her old party comes back to haunt her, while the crew that let the mage go keeps finding out what they lost.
#4 — Reincarnated as a Sword Season 2 Ep 4 | Yaboyrocklee Reaction
Why it ranks: That was a crazy episode, bro. It was non-stop fun, and y’all in the comments were right that pausing to read the skills pays off, because knowing the skills is always the clue. Once we could finally hit him, he was a glass cannon.
Spoiler-free summary: Episode 4: Fran and Teacher run into an undead dungeon boss with a real grudge and a skill that makes him almost impossible to hit.
#5 — Firefly Wedding Ep 3 | Yaboyrocklee Reaction
Why it ranks: This show actually gets progressively better with each episode. It’s not boring, it’s captivating, and I like that we learn more about this world through natural conversations instead of forced exposition. I can’t condone everything Shinpei does, but I like the writer’s mind and how they created this character, and I love the VA work.
Spoiler-free summary: Episode 3: Shinpei goes looking for allies on the island, and the island’s respectable people turn out to be anything but.
