Hey all, just wanted to recommend 3 K-Dramas that I think you will enjoy!
1. My Mister
– 16 episodes
– 2018 Psychological drama
– still holds the highest rating in all South Korean dramas, (search on google and also on iMDb: 9.1/10 highest rated K-Drama)
– a legendary singer/actress plays the main female role, (if you liked God Sejeong then I bet you will like IU too)
– I don’t want to spoil you guys on this show so I won’t give you the synopsis but I really recommend this one, it won’t disappoint.
2. Sky Castle
– 20 episodes
– 2018 Psychological drama
– is also a very high rated show, it comes in second after My Mister, (8.6/10 on iMDb and 4.9/5 on google)
– the actors and actresses are quite diverse, you have some legendary actors playing the role of parents and teachers while you also have young/new actors playing the role as students and children.
– again I don’t want to spoil you guys with a synopsis as I think it would ruin the fun, but this show is a must-watch for parents with young children.
3. Hot Stove League
– 16 episodes
– 2019 Sports drama
– this show isn’t as popular as the others but I feel it is due to not being well-known in the global market.
– if you liked Itaewon Class this show is very similar, and if you are a baseball fan then this show is the best IMO.
Lastly a show I mentioned before but I took it out of the top 3 just because it was quite different to the 3 mentioned above.
0. The Sound of Magic
– 6 episodes
– 2022 Fantasy drama
– this show is not rated very high and it isn’t talked about too much, I think it just didn’t do well because of its unique story-telling method, (you will know if you watch it)
– overall I really enjoyed the show and would easily put this at a top 10 in K-Dramas just for its uniqueness.
