Are you guys interested in reacting to Monster? Its a anime from the 2000s that holds up in terms of story-telling (and I think it was one of the top anime on MyAnimeList back then, if not now).
If you guys are into crime thrillers, you might also love this one.
Fun fact, by the way, Guillermo del Toro was planning to make a live-action series of this for HBO (it got greenlit but never went past the development process; HBO wanted to make changes to the script and del Toro wanted to be faithful to the manga, I think).
